Privacy Policy - App (NP)

Your privacy is important to us.  This Privacy Statement (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, use, transfer, store, and protect your information.  It applies to the Adia App you are currently viewing.  By visiting or using the Adia App, you expressly consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of the personal information/data (“Information”) described in this Privacy Policy.  Such processing of the Information may even occur after the termination of the business relationship between you and Adia, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
    Personal Information is information that can be used to identify a specific person, either alone or when combined with other information provided to Adia.  We endeavor to limit the Information we collect, taking into account the nature of our business and to provide the services you request.  You can access certain features of the Adia App without disclosing information.  You also may be required to register for an account in order to access certain content/portions of the Adia App.

    We collect, process, and retain Information from you and any device you use when you register with Adia, provide supplemental information to Adia, use the App for job orders/assignments, communicate or interact with Adia, or otherwise use the services provided by Adia.

    We collect a variety of information when you register for our services.  If you are a client receiving Adia’s temporary staffing services (“Client”), the information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, your company name or your first and last name, email address, phone number, company address, employer identification number, bank name, bank account name, bank account number and routing number.  If you are a person interested in placement with a Client (“Candidate”), the information we may collect includes, but is not limited, to your first and last name, email address, phone number, social security number, listing of your language skills, education, training, professional certifications and licenses, professional experience, bank name, bank account name, and bank account number and routing number, as applicable.  We will also request your identification documents, work permits, and information requested by insurance providers.

    Additional Information may be shared during the use of the Chat function on the Adia Ap.  All your conversations utilizing the Chat function are recorded and stored.


    The personal information we collect from you allows Adia to provide the requested service to you (for example, bank account information facilitates payment; language skills and geographic information facilitates matching opportunities; etc.).  We also collect information to allow Adia to communicate with you and make you aware of information related to Adia (including but not limited to notices, changes to policies and terms, information relating to job orders/assignments and updates).

    Adia may store and process Information in the United States of America or any other country in which Adia or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents – domestic or foreign-maintain facilities. By using the Adia app, you consent to any such transfer of Information outside of the country where you reside, where you are a citizen, and/or where you access the Adia App.


    In addition to the above information that you provide, we also collect certain information from you automatically through the use of cookies or other technology used in connection with the Adia App.  When you log into Adia, using a social media account, your public profile data will be accessible to Adia.  Additionally, Adia uses cookies to enable Users to specify unique preferences and to track User trends and patterns. Our web server software automatically records a log file of IP addresses that access the Adia App. We may also automatically collect from Users their mobile device manufacturer, model, number, unique ID, software system and version, and version of the mobile application in order to tailor the presentation of the services to the application.   Adia uses this information primarily to maintain the quality of its services and to provide general statistics about App visitors, but may use the information for any other purpose described in this Privacy Policy.

    Adia treats the above-referenced automatically collected information as non-personal information (except where local law otherwise requires that IP addresses be treated as personal information).

    You may, on occasion, provide Adia with additional information or create content associated with your account which does not perform identification of a specific person. Non-personal information may include that contained in Adia job orders/assignments, including scope of work, spend limit, or pay rate.   Adia may use any such non-personal information for any purpose, including but not limited to statistical analysis, product development and improvement, marketing, and research.  If using other persons/companies to provide these services on Adia’s behalf, Adia will generally provide those entities only such information as is needed to provide Adia with such services, and Adia will generally prohibit such entities from using such information for other purposes, but in certain instances may do so if commercially reasonable.

    Protecting your personal information is important to Adia.  The Adia App will require you to use a password selected by you.  Passwords shall not be shared and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur through the use of your password, including unauthorized use, and for promptly notifying Adia of any unauthorized use and any other breach of security with respect to the Adia App.  Adia, in its sole and absolute discretion, may at any time terminate or otherwise restrict access to and use of the Adia App, including without limitation if Adia should suspect unauthorized use of a password or any other breach of security.

    Certain data, including your bank account number, routing number, and social security number and/or EIN, is encrypted for your protection.  The servers on which personal information is stored are protected by firewalls.  When personal information is transferred, it is done through a server using an encrypted communication protocol.  The Adia App is operated using secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.  Physical access to servers is restricted and only authorized personnel are permitted access.

    Although Adia utilizes commercially reasonable data security measures to protect User data, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure.  Therefore, Adia cannot guarantee the security of the personal data sent by you via Adia or in any other way to Adia during transmission.  All data is transmitted at your own risk.  As soon as Adia has received your Information, it will endeavor to prevent access by unauthorized persons through reasonable security procedures and safety standards.


    Service Providers

    Adia shares Information with service providers who provide Adia with services such as background checks, credit card processing, push notifications, and enabling users to communicate with customer support.  Adia also shares information such as usage behavior and user activity for the purpose of improving our products and services.  Information is not sold to or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes, and these third-party companies are obligated to protect your information.


    Adia also may share your contact information with Clients or Candidates for the purpose of facilitating the services provided through the Adia App (for example, in response to job orders/assignments).  Certain information concerning your geographical location may be used to provide regionalized information to Adia’s clients or other third parties.  Adia may make certain Information available to strategic partners or affiliates that work with Adia to provide products and services. Adia reserves the right to share Information with its affiliates, subsidiaries and third parties for reasonable business purposes without additional permission other than the permission you have granted under the terms of this Privacy Policy.  Adia also reserves the right to disclose Information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the requirements of law, the orders of a courts or agencies, and/or other legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Adia or others; and/or (c) protect the personal safety of Users of the Adia app or other persons.

    Adia does not knowingly collect personal information from children (younger than 18 years old).  If Adia becomes aware that any personal information has been submitted online that relates to a child, Adia will immediately delete such information from our records.
    Adia is entitled to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting an amended privacy policy.  A User’s use of Adia after the publication of the amended Privacy Policy will be deemed unreserved acceptance of the amended policy.
    You may change or update the information you previously provided to Adia by accessing your account within the Adia App.  Adia reserves the right to decline to make any changes that are frivolous, unreasonable, or contrary to law.
    Adia welcomes feedback regarding this Privacy Policy. If at any time you believe that an Adia Site has not adhered to this Privacy Policy, please contact Adia at us.support@adia.com and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly investigate and correct any problems.
    Adia sometimes provide hyper-links to third party sites.  Adia encourages you to review the privacy statements of web sites you choose to visit via hyper-links on the app so that you can understand how those web sites collect, use and share Information. Adia is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, acts or omissions of third-party web sites and their owners/administrators.
